$15 Million in Grant Money for Michigan First Time Home Buyers!

Michigan First Time Home Buyers Grants Available




Michigan First Time Home Buyers can apply for a $3,000 grant to assist with the purchase of a single family home. Active duty military and veterans can get up to $5,000!

These grant funds may be used with any loan type including:

                FHA * Conventional * VA 

 

  • Must be a first time home buyer purchasing a single family home as primary residence
  • $3k for non-military applicants
  • $5k for active duty military and veterans
  • Neither grant can exceed 25% of the purchase price
  • NO income limits
  • NO sales price limit
  • NO repayment required
 

This is a $15 million dollar grant program through Michigan State Housing Development Authority or MSHDA. Currently as of today's date, there is just over $12 million left.
