St. Clair Shores Waterfront Real Estate ~ Market Report

 

Since summer is quickly coming to an end, in addition to my St. Clair Shores Market Report for August I thought we'd take a look at the waterfront activity in St. Clair Shores for the year to date, effective September 15th, 2011.

Through September 15, 2011 there have been 19 closings on canal front and Lakefront homes in the Shores. Currently as of today there are 25 canal front or Lakefront homes on the market ranging in price from a 1,000 sq. ft. bank owned canal front home at $64,900 to Lakefront homes over 4,000 sq.ft. priced over $800,000.

Now just because Fall is upon us, doesn't mean the waterfront market stops. Sure, you may not get the boaters that want to close and move in before the season starts but looking at last year there were 13 canal or lakefront homes that sold between 9/15/10 and 3/31/11.

 

 

Here's a break down of the number of homes sold in the various price ranges to give you an idea.
