Ok I know there has always been the chance that you could get hit with repairs when you have an FHA appraisal done. But they have been extremely lenient in the past um I don't know, 4 - 5 years I would guess. I'm not complaining, griping or bitching! Just letting buyers, sellers and agents know, because I was shocked to hear there were Conditions to the Appraisal this morning on one of my deals.
It has been so long since I even heard of anyone getting hit with an fha repair, I was truely surprised. We are in the midst of negotiating the repairs with the sellers, I am the buyers agent in this deal. I don't think that there will be anything we cannot resolve, but it did throw a monkey wrench in the gears of this deal, momentarily.
So if you are a buyer looking for St. Clair Shores homeswith an fha loan, have your agent keep an eye outfor any potential fha red flags for repairs.
Sellers will want to do the same thing, it can save a lot of time and hassle and will makes things go faster when you get an offer on your home. Note:a lot of fha repairs sited are trip hazards.
